Stickerbush Symphony

I return once again to the magical land of Blogger to post some more graphic design work. As Linguini put it best in Ratatouille, "Let's do this thing!"

My Signal-To-Noise poster. I admit I took a little inspiration from those old sharpe-based projects where you created a feeling or emotion using shapes. Noise seems like it would be a random mess of shapes scattered with no real thought. But I thought, to keep in the theme of digital works, I would make them more conform and more like pixels on a monitor. The 7 color shades on the bottom-half are based on the popular TV Screen Testing procedure that the organizers seem to like a lot. As for the dark red.... it was originally a placeholder, but it felt right so I just left it.

Concentration Number 8 - Desert. This is actually based on an older idea I had that was too generic and didn't fit the theme I was going with on these. I thought it'd be a bit of a waste to just let it sit there, so I messed with it a bit and got this. Not sure what I'm doing after this one... I have a long list of locations but no idea how to compose them at the moment.

Aaaaand as for other things: There are a lot of other things. I'm working with Nate on a new website that will hopefully be a place for others to share original works. I'm helping my friend Alex by drawing a cutscene for his game, Z-250. I'm also trying to keep a regular schedule on uploading videos to Youtube (I do Let's Plays - Playing video games while commentating) and streaming mini-marathons every Friday night on Twitch.tv. Oh, and let's not forget Project Data and jSonic, both of which I'm working on. And also, school work. I admit I'm kinda stepping on my own feet right now, but I think it's good to have lots of projects. It proves I'm not just some lazy kid sitting on facebook playing farmville all day. :P
Anyway, thanks for checking out my stuff. "Goodnight everybody!"
